For the fragrance Mona Lisa by the French brand Nobl’Art Parfums, I created a full visual campaign including photography and video. From concept to final delivery. The briefing centered around a modern interpretation of the iconic Mona Lisa, which is clearly reflected in the colorful, art-inspired label on the bottle. That visual served as the starting point for the entire creative direction.
The fragrance is bold and expressive, with a strong connection to modern art and color. I translated that into a visual style built around vibrant tones, reflective surfaces and a sense of modern energy. Rather than taking a classic approach, I designed a setting that feels like a luxurious contemporary art gallery, where the bottle is presented as a visual statement. The imagery is designed to catch the eye while keeping the focus on the product itself. For this series, I worked with colorful backgrounds and dynamic lighting. The bottle is always placed at the center, surrounded by gradients and abstract shapes. Reflections beneath the product help to add a sense of luxury and precision to the presentation. The golden cap and amber-colored liquid were carefully lit to highlight the design and give it a refined, premium feel. |
In addition to the expressive visuals, I created a set of clean product photos on a white background. These were made for webshop use and show the bottle clearly from multiple angles. The photos are technically sharp and neutral, but visually aligned with the rest of the campaign to keep everything consistent.
I also produced a short video that brings the bottle to life using the same visual elements as the photography. Color, light, reflection and rhythm work together to create a cohesive result. The structure of the video supports the concept and reflects the modern, abstract, artistic vision behind this version of Mona Lisa. The images and video were designed for versatile use across various platforms, from social media to in-store displays. The final result is a cohesive visual series that reimagines a classic icon through a modern and artistic lens, positioning Mona Lisa as an expressive and recognizable signature within the Nobl’Art Parfums collection. - Thijs Goedegebuure |
