For VandeStreek Bier, I developed a visual campaign for their Grapefruit Non-Alcoholic IPA. From concept to delivery, I handled the entire production of both the photo and the video. The goal was to create visuals that immediately express freshness, energy, and a bold alcohol-free alternative. The creative direction builds on traditional beer branding but adds a vibrant, clear, and modern twist that reflects vandeStreek’s playful and progressive spirit.
The visual was built from individually captured elements such as the can, grapefruit slices and splashes. I combined these in post-production into a layered and high-impact composition with strong motion, frozen in time, and a clear focus on the label. By isolating and lighting each part separately, I had full control over contrast, detail, and positioning. The choice for a colorful and high-energy visual style was intentional. While many beer visuals rely on dark and earthy tones, this non-alcoholic IPA required a fresher and more vibrant approach—while still maintaining contrast through a deep black background. The bright grapefruit slices and vivid splash pop against the dark setting, creating an immediate sense of refreshment and flavour. This contrast helps position the product within a more modern and health-conscious lifestyle, without losing the boldness often associated with craft beer. |
For the photo, I created a lighting setup where each element was lit with precision. The can looks crisp and refreshing, the label is clear and readable, and the grapefruit slices are presented in a way that clearly shows their juiciness. The result is an image suitable for a wide range of applications, from websites and social media to large-format print such as outdoor posters or displays.
The video begins with full energy from the first frame. The can spins, followed by fast cuts of squeezed grapefruit, flying juice, and a final hero moment where everything comes together in motion. The tempo and visual rhythm were designed to trigger attention quickly, especially in digital campaigns or promotional loops. This project combines brand storytelling with technical precision in a clear visual direction. The visual direction reflects the positioning of a modern alcohol-free beer and helps strengthen the identity of Van de Streek Bier within this growing segment.
